Big Rig Challenge Tickets Are Available Now

Reminder of general rules for the 2025 Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge.

This Is a rain or shine event

-all spectators with the exception of staff, sponsors or vendors are to enter the apeedway at 4624 M-33 Hwy onaway, MI. If you enter in the wrong entrance you will be turned around

– have your QR codes on tickets ready to be scanned before you enter the premises

-no motorized vehicles (UTVs, ATVs, Golf Carts etc) are allowed on the premises. There are a few exceptions. Please direct message us if you have questions

-no spectator canopy tents along the south side of the drag strip no exceptions, they are allowed on the north side of the track only. We will ask you to move if youre in the wrong location.

-no glass bottles of any kind on the premises

-no camp fires or propane fire pits no exceptions

-children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

-no spectators around the loaded trailers in the pit area while racing is going on

-please place trash in designated receptacles

-coolers of any size are allowed

-fans are NOT to walk on the truck route at any point when the races are going.

Friday Aug 30th

Pick up and semi truck drag racing practice 2pm-6pm

Live entertainment 8pm-12am Todd Michael and the Ghost town Marshall’s Band

Saturday Aug 31st

10-4pm semi truck and pick up drag racing

6pm-9pm semi truck and pickup sled pulling

Live entertainment 9pm-1am Remedy

Sunday Sep 1st

12pm-until the double elimination brackets are complete semi truck drag racing

Awards ceremony immediately following drag racing

ATTENTION 2023 OVAL TRACK RACERS

Raceivers this year are still MANDATORY for ALL classes.

They will NOT be available to rent, but we will have them for sale for $120.

Transponders will also still be MANDATORY for all classes.

Currently we are working with westhold to get the best transponder option available, but we will NOT guarantee rentals are available every week.

So it’s highly recommended you purchase a westhold transponder on your own.

There will be NO exceptions to the above rules for this season.

So please make sure you’re prepared prior to June 3rd opening night.
